Tiffany is a Licensed Psychologist and Associate Professor of Counseling at San Francisco State University. She earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology and master’s degree in Counseling and Human Services from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. She completed her pre- and post-doctoral training at University of California, Berkeley - Counseling and Psychological Services. Her research focuses on LGBTQ affirmative therapy and fostering cultural humility and social justice commitment through supervision and training. She is the co-coordinator of the Northern California MFT Educators Consortium. She serves on the editorial boards of Training and Education in Professional Psychology, Professional Psychology: Research and Practice, and Women & Therapy. She also maintains a private therapy and supervision practice in Berkeley, CA, and recently completed a decade of service as a volunteer individual clinical supervisor and trainer for The Pacific Center for Human Growth, a queer community mental health center that provides sliding-scale therapy to foster the well-being of the LGBTQ community.
