Jacquelyn Chin is a doctoral student in Counseling Psychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Working with Dr. Tania Israel and Dr. Alison Cerezo, her research focuses on creative mental health interventions, racial identity development, sexual/gender diversity, substance use, and community-based methods. She is a project manager for the Black LGBTQIAS-2 Family Unity Project, evaluating a community-based mental health intervention to support Black queer youth and parents. Jacquelyn is also the president of the Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA), an Access graduate mentor, and part of the Graduate Scholar Mentorship program.
